Explanation...

You will not have to pay VAT if the following 3 conditions are applicable:

    1. You declare that you (or the person for whom you are purchasing the products on behalf of) are chronically       sick or disabled *​

​

   2. The products that you are purchasing are eligible to be supplied at a zero rate of VAT.​

​

   3. The products that you are purchasing are being supplied to you (or the person for whom you are purchasing the products on behalf of) for domestic or personal use only.

​

You (or the person for whom you are purchasing the products on behalf of) do not have to be registered disabled, but the nature of the illness or disablement must be specified.

When purchasing on this platform, a VAT Exemption Form will appear in your Cart, if your are eligible please fill it in before buying your new furniture.

Products which are mobility friendly already show prices which exclude VAT, this includes:

  • All Riser Recliners

  • Adjustable Beds

  • Adjust-A-Bed Mattresses

  • Celebrity Sofas.

If you are not eligible for exemption, we will have to add VAT to your order for any of these products.  Any type of Sofa or Non-Rising Chairs from Sherborne, and Accessories from any of our suppliers, are not available for VAT Exemption.
